Between the Covers Rare Books was founded in 1985 by Tom and Heidi Congalton. It is an antiquarian book company with an inventory of over 200,000 books ranging from rare first editions to inexpensive reading copies. With books on almost every subject imaginable, it specializes in first editions of literary and genre fiction, poetry, and plays; signed and association copies; African-American history and literature; and books about baseball and other sports. It is headquartered in Gloucester City, NJ.
